SO MUCH YOU CAN DO ON A WEEKEND TRIP TO D.C.
Washington D.C. really feels like a city of government. Everywhere I turn there is a government building, museum, or politician hangout restaurant. We flew on a red eye into D.C. and landed super early Friday morning (those economy seats are really rough these days!). Jean, one of my dear college friends, had been road tripping throughout the U.S. with her husband.
MY LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH SEATTLE
So I lived in Seattle for the summer/fall of 2016, and I have mixed feelings about the city. I loved the openness of the people and how it melded nature and cityscape together. But the city also has this pompous and cheeky vibe too which I don't appreciate.
CHINESE GARDEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY
It was a rainy day and I was all by myself in this new city called Vancouver. I was supposed to meet two of my friends here, but they both missed their flights and couldn't get on another flight without paying exorbitant fees.
SO MANY MUSEUMS IN ONE DAY, BUT I DID IT!
I must say, I was a bit skeptical of trying to accomplish the task of seeing all these museums in one short weekend. But I did it! Would I say it was the best experience in my life? No. But I did feel more cultured and aware of art afterwards. I felt sophisticated, even if it was for only a day or two.
HOLLYWOOD TOURS GALORE
So during my Memorial Day Weekend, I decided to be a tourist in my own city. I didn't have a chance to book a flight out for the weekend, but still wanted to do something fun where I still felt like I was traveling. So why not hit up as many tours from my 1,000 List as I can!
MY HOME, HOLLYWOOD
I love living in Los Angeles! And I love even more that I can call Hollywood my home! I've been at my place for about 6 plus years now, where Runyon Canyon is only a few blocks up, and this place never gets old.
